I know I'm late on this one but here is a photo of Bow Wow’s daughter, Shai, her mother is a model by the name of Joie. She is simply adorable.

Naturi Naughton has signed on to appear in The Wolverine the sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine. She will play Cecilia Reyes, described as a “doctor and former X-men member who is able to generate a force field that is tied to her life force,” reports Indie Wire. The movie also stars Hugh Jackman and Kelly Hu and starts production in October and to be released in 2012. Naturi also co-stars in the upcoming NBC show, The Playboy Club. The show is about the men who hang out at the Playboy Club in Chicago and the women who work there.

Murdered Cali Swag District member M-Bone may have been targeted after a Twitter war over a girl ... sources connected with the group tell TMZ.

Our sources say M-Bone's friends have been in touch with cops, telling investigators after he got back to L.A. from his tour, he got involved with a girl. M-Bone's friends say a guy who lived in the woman's building didn't like the relationship, and allegedly began threatening M-Bone via Twitter.

We're told M-Bone did not back down and the two men started cyber smack-talking each other. TMZ has learned ... the black car in which M-Bone was shot is registered to the woman.
Cops are trying to figure out why M-Bone was driving the woman's car and whether the cyber war is in any way related to the shooting.

And one more important detail. Witnesses tell TMZ, the shooter fired, left, then pulled a U-turn and came back around, possibly to see if he hit his target. The upshot -- it might not be random, as first suspected.

 This is just utterly ridiculous. A man has lost his life over some total and complete bullsh*t involving a female. May his family get the swift justice they deserve. RIP.

Cassidy Arrested For Murder

Philly rapper Cassidy was arrested over the weekend for probation violations and suspicion of murder...

City police arrested a hip-hop artist Saturday who is wanted in Philadelphia, authorities said.
The Philadelphia Police warrant squad called the Hackensack Police Department on Saturday morning to tell officers there was an open warrant for Hackensack resident Barry Reese, also known as the rapper Cassidy, Hackensack police Lt. Timothy Lloyd said.

The warrant was for violating probation, but Reese is also a suspect in a murder and two attempted murders in Philadelphia, Lloyd said. Philadelphia police knew from a prior investigation that the rapper lived in Hackensack, Lloyd said. Philadelphia police told their Hackensack counterparts “to consider this person armed and dangerous,” and this was a “high-risk warrant,” Lloyd said.

Officers from the Hackensack Police Emergency Response Team and the police department’s juvenile bureau watched Reese’s home Saturday on Reilly Court, Lloyd said. Reese left his house about 1:30 p.m. and was followed by police to a local convenience store, Lloyd said.
An undercover ERT officer went in the store and positively identified Reese, he said.
When Reese came out of the store, “the ERT units moved in and conducted a felony motor vehicle stop,” Lloyd said.

Reese “was very surprised,” Lloyd said. The officers who arrested the rapper “did an outstanding job,” he said. “Without the proper teamwork going on, this could have spiraled out of control quickly.” No one was injured in the arrest, Lloyd said. Reese, 28, will be brought to the Bergen County Jail Annex to await extradition to Philadelphia, Lloyd said.

Cassidy’s most well-known single is 2005’s “I’m a Hustla,” which reached No. 8 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

Jermaine Dupri Got A Stripper Pregnant...

Yesterday news broke that a former stripper in Atlanta had to take Jermaine Dupri to court for back child support.  Apparently, Jermaine had quietly been ordered to pay $2,500.00 a month plus $7,500 in back support to Sarai Jones for their 7 month old daughter. He should have paid it. That way we would have never  figured out that atrocious tattoo of Janet was a desperate last ditch effort to win her back. Being that JD is now hollering broke, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Twitter Beef: Joe Budden And Chris Brown

Joe Budden has been put on blast for the recent beating of video model Esther Baxter after she released those disgusting pictures. Yesterday Esther gave an explosive interview to Bossip telling them Joe once beat the crap out of her, resulting in the death of their unborn child. To prove it, Esther provided a police report, a restraining order, pictures of her bruised body and several pictures of a bloody clot floating in a toilet. I'm not kidding. There was a picture of an actual dead fetus. The pictures were online until Bossip removed them without explanation.  Esther later denied giving Bossip permission to post the miscarried fetus pictures and Joe denied ever hitting Esther. Joe Budden's Twitter time line then went berserk with people attacking him. In response he started Tweeting sarcastic references between his situation and Chris Brown's. Christopher was not amused and had to let your boy Joe know what the deal is in a very mature tweet. I don't know why people refuse to leave Chris alone. The young man can't catch a break.

Those Beyonce stans will not be happy about this.

The boy’s name is from where Nick proposed to Mariah, the top tier of her New York City apartment which is called the “Moroccan Room.” Scott is Nick’s middle name as well as his grandmother’s maiden name. Little Moroccan will  be nicknamed Roc. Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe who is Mariah’s idol. She will have no middlename just like Mariah has no middle name. I'm not mad at these names, at least they're sensible. Good job Mariah and Nick.

Keyshia Cole's Mother Frankie Arrested On Drug Charges

Say it ain't so! Keyshia Cole's mother Frankie Lons was recently arrested for drug related charges. According to TMZ:

Law enforcement tells us…cops stopped Frankie for a routine traffic violation yesterday when they noticed an active warrant out for her arrest stemming from a probation violation.
We’re told cops then performed a search–and found “drug-related material” on her person.
Lons was arrested and transported to a nearby jail–where she was booked for the probation violation and misdemeanor possession of drug-related material.
This morning, Lons is still in custody.

This is so sad. I was pulling for Frankie to be better after she was on Celebrity Rehab but I guess not. 

Tyler Perry Ends "House Of Payne"

Tyler Perry’s House Of Payne is coming to an end. The show has been on TBS for five years and will end after 222 episodes, reports EW.  Tyler is filling the void with a new show based on Why did I Get Married? titled For Better or Worse.


“Even though it will be sad to say goodbye to House of Payne, I’m really looking forward to exploring new territory with For Better or Worse,” Tyler  said in a statement. “Working on House of Payne taught me a lot about what it takes to make a successful television series and I’m looking forward to applying that experience to For Better or Worse.”

The new show follows the life of a married couple, with Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith reprising their roles of Marcus and Angela. The show will target young adults. This new show may be interesting because if you've seen any of the Why did I get married movies you know that Tasha Smith is a plum fool wit it.

Photos of Diamond and Soulja Boy cupcaking hit the net yesterday and Lil Scrappy's mother is not happy about it. Lil Scrappy’s Mama called in to Hot 107.9 radio station earlier today to blast off on Diamond. Lil Scrappy took the high road, explaining that they had broken up and he wished her well, however moms feels just the opposite about the situation. She tells The Dirty Boyz:

"Okay, the b***h done got breast implants and booty shots, the b***h ain’t real first of all. Secondly, Soulja boy is gonna come behind him anyway. So at the end of the day Scrappy is chilling, he’s fine, he’s the Prince of the South and he got it good".

I'm trying to figure why his mama is so bitter. It seems to me and according to Scrappy that he and Diamond have made an amicable split and ended on good terms. What is her deal? I'll keep you posted as this story develops. Listen to the interview below.

Miami Dolphin Brandon Marshall Stabbed

Brandon Marshall is in intensive care this morning after being stabbed in the stomach by a crazy bitch. He is expected to recover within two to three weeks, ESPN reported.

“This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family. Thankfully he will make a full recovery,” said Kennard McGuire and Harvey Steinberg, Marshall’s agents, in a statement. “We simply ask that his privacy is respected.”

Marshall was obtained by the Dolphins from Denver last April, signing a four-year deal with Miami worth $47.5-million, $24-million of it guaranteed, and led the Dolphins last year with 1,014 receiving yards. 

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family and I hope he has a speedy recovery. These athletes need to start running background checks on these chicks. They don't know who they are dealing with.

After Suge lost Death Row  Dre sued the new owners for back royalties. It was just ruled that the new Death Row does not have rights to sell 'The Chronic' digitally. All digital sales go to Dre, plus the new Death Row can not sell 'The Chronic' on any compilation sets and only in CD, cassette, vinyl and 8 track format. I sure Dr. Dre stay getting his money all kind of ways. I'm not mad at him because we all know how shady Suge is.

Lyfe Jenning Is Behind Bars But Welcomes Baby Girl

Incarcerated R&B singer Lyfe Jennings and his fiancee Marquita Goings welcomed their new baby girl earlier last month. Lyfe was sentenced to three and half years in prison last September for kicking in his other baby mama's front door, shooting up her house and crashing his corvette into a pole after a high speed chase with police. Needless to say that he will be missing all the baby girls milestones. So sad. SMH.

Rihanna has earned her 10th no.1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her S&M remix featuring Britney Spears. This ties Rihanna with Janet Jackson and makes her the artist who had 10 no. 1 hits in the shortest period of time. Rihanna is also the youngest to reach this milestone, beating out Mariah Carey who was 25 years old when she hit this mark. Kudos to Rihanna for maintaining a steak of hits and rocking trendy fashions.

Waiting To Exhale Part II: Getting To Happy

Terry McMillan announced via Twitter that the sequel to her 1995 smash hit, Waiting to Exhale, is all set and ready for the big screen. Getting to Happy will reportedly, and hopefully, hit theaters next year, and both Loretta Divine and Angela Bassett have confirmed that they will be a part of the upcoming production. I wonder if they’ve gotten Lela Rochon and Whitney Houston to come back for round two?
The sequels plot is described as:
