Obama Gets Lip Busted During Basketball Game

Rey Decerega, who works for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington, DC, was identified by the White House as the one who gave President Obama a fat lip during a pickup basketball game at Fort McNair in Washington, DC yesterday. U.S. President Barack Obama took an elbow to the mouth as he went up for a rebound while playing a pickup basketball game with his personal assistant Reggie Love (a former Duke University standout), and “family members” – according to the AP. Obama’s busted lip required 12 stitches to close. The number of stitches was increased due to doctors using a smaller filament (string) to stitch the wound tighter so the resulting scar would not be as visible when it heals.

Superhead Is Being Abused By Eddie Winslow

Karrine Steffans, aka Superhead, recently wrote an open letter on her website where she talks about being physically, emotionally and mentally abused by the man in her life and signed the letter “Karrine Steffans-McCrary.”
"I’ve been a victim of abuse all my life –– literally, for as long as I can remember. It is my norm. Whereas most people would run in the other direction the moment someone physically, emotionally, or mentally abuses them –– I stay.
It’s a sickness and just when I think I am cured, the cancer spreads.
For the past several years, I have been involved in a highly abusive relationship. I have been choked, whipped with belts, thrown about, berated, belittled, raped, and disregarded as a human being. I have been abandoned and embarrassed, then, loved and coddled.
I have been caught in a vicious cycle and have left on many occasions, just to return.
I have found little support from my friends and family because I complain, and I cry, then I go back for more. I go back knowing that, one day, he’ll kill me but he’s all I have. He’s the only one who understands because he’s stuck in this cycle, too.
When I try to confide in friends they ask, “Well, what did you do to him? What did you say to him?” They tell me, “You know how he is, he’s never going to change, so why do you stay? You know what you’re getting into. Don’t tell anyone because he’ll come out looking good and you’ll only make yourself look bad.” It’s always my fault.
No one understands – not even me.
So, I keep it all to myself and it continues. Then, we make up and vow it will never happen again –– then it does and I feel so foolish for ever believing he can change or that we can change. Then, I begin to believe again. I believe even now.
I love him though it pains me to admit. It sickens me to know that I will return to him in an instant and that the next time could be the last time and that breath, my last breath. Still, I hold out hope that one day we’ll learn how to love one another without pain. I pray that those who look on with smirks and judgments know one thing –– domestic violence is very real and, at times, very final.

I feel very bad for her but only to a certain extent. She has been victimized her whole life and yet she refuses to break the cycle and remains with her abusers. She has a son she needs to live for and she needs to be strong enough to leave for his sake. She gathered the strength to live Kool G and she needs to find the strength to leave Eddie as well. T.I. posted a letter on his Trapmuzik website and long story short he doesn't like jail. T.I. writes,

This experience is truly a pain I have never felt before and that's saying a lot for a nigga who's been down locked up as many times as I have. I see this as a real ass whoopin'. The kind you don't just go back outside to play afterwards. You take ya ass to bed and don't come out of your room until it's time to go to school. I don' t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I'm certainly sick and mother f*cking tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it. I'd have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life. Even though it's been a long road, I'm still standing, barely but nevertheless still standing. At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmama, even for the haters or the people I let down. But nah... I got to do this shit for me!!! I'll be God damned if I've come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! F*ck that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my mother f*ckin' shades cause I'm ready to cash my darkest hours in...ASAP!!! A lot of folks had fathers or father figures in the house to raise them into manhood. I'm not trying to make any excuses for my situation but my father was a hustler that lived in New York. My uncle was a local big time dope boy turned 10 year federal inmate. My mother and grandparents did the best they could but I found my manhood in the trap and in prison systems. But I found it. And nan one of mine will ever have to feel the cold tight grip of a handcuff or grace the presence of a jail cell if I can help it. Over my dead body! DMX Arrested For Drugs Again

DMX got arrested for violating his probation. DMX was cited for use of Oxycontin without a prescription, failing to submit to drug testing, failing to participate in counseling programs, failure to make payments, and driving on a suspended license. Not to mention that when they arrested him he had some coke on him. I seriously think its time for him to lay low and get cleaned up at this point. He should just find a job 9-5 and work on himself. SMH

Wesley Snipes lost his appeal for a new trial on the grounds that some of his jurors were biased and that the star witness for the prosecution had a criminal record. Now, two years after his conviction on tax evasion, Wesley Snipes must report to jail and immediately begin his 3 year sentence. Where he will be serving his time has not been announced.

Fantasia And Paula Cook In Mediation

American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino met with her boyfriend’s scorned wife, Paula Cook, earlier this month in an attempt to keep the details of Barrino’s alleged affair with Antwaun Cook private and out of the Mecklenburg County courthouse according to RadarOnline.com. The two women attempted to settle their dispute through private mediation but the ladies were unable to reach a settlement, propelling Cook to move forward with a civil lawsuit against the singer. “Fantasia and Paula were in mediation for nearly 12 hours on November 1. “They didn’t settle because Fantasia refuses to acknowledge that she was aware of Paula’s marriage to Antwaun when she started dating him, and Paula is adamant that she knew.” Hit Links To This Post below for the rest.

Former Jodeci member DeVante Swing caught drunk off his ass at Subway. Last weekend DeVante stepped into a Subway sandwich shop for an early evening snack but he was so fucked up he could barely even stand. After stumbling around the store knocking over chairs and bothering a customer, police were called and DeVante was escorted out and arrested for public drunkenness. He was locked in the drunk tank for about 5 hours till he sobered up and was released. No charges will be filed.

Shane Sparks Child Molestation Trial To Begin Nov. 15

America's Best Dance Crew judge Shane Sparks has been indicted on child molestation charges. Shane Sparks, best known as a choreographer and judge on Randy Jackson's hit MTV show America's Best Dance Crew, was taken into police custody in Los Angeles on a felony warrant in December 2009 and later released on $590,000 bail. According to the criminal complaint filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, Sparks allegedly committed lewd acts upon a child in multiple incidents between 1994 and 1997. Sparks has pleaded not guilty to six counts of lewd acts on a minor and two counts of oral copulation of a person under 16 in March 2010. His defence attorney, Steve Meister, has branded the accusations "extortion, Hollywood style". On Monday Nov 10, 2010, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled there was enough evidence for the 41-year-old to stand trial. Sparks is scheduled to be arraigned on November 15, 2010. SMH

According to The Nashville Criminal Justice Center, Kat Stacks, who was arrested Friday Nov 5 under an immigration hold, has a 90% chance of being deported to Venezuela this week.

The young mother born Andrea Herrera-Cardena was detained in Nashville, Tennessee just three days after celebrating her 21st birthday. She's currently being held without bail at the Nashville Correctional Development Center For Females. "She didn't get arrested for a state charge, so she must've missed an immigration court date in the past. Once that happens they start looking for you and once they got you... it's a wrap," says Miss Pugh a police assistant at Nashville's CJC.

Pugh also stated that most of the time illegal aliens are deported within seven days of detainment. However, if the woman who made a name for herself by sexing and terrorizing rappers seeks council, there may be a chance she stays on US soil.

Lil Wayne showed up in Las Veags last Saturday night and jumped on stage with Drake in his first performance since he'd gotten out of jail. Too bad he couldn't celebrate with Drake after it was over. It turns out that the after party for Drake's concert was at the Wynn hotel and an executive decision was made to ban Lil Weezy from the event due to his current legal issues.

Gucci Mane is out of jail and all charges have been dropped. Rapper Gucci Mane was ordered released from Fulton County Jail Wednesday after prosecutors announced they would not pursue the pending multiple traffic charges or the obstruction allegation.

She may be laughing it off but Kim Zolciak's pregnancy is no joke. Star can confirm The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is indeed with child — despite the fact that she called our report yesterday "hilarious."

Kim's former lesbian lover, DJ Tracy Young is standing by her story, published exclusively in this week's issue of Star. As we reported, Kim is expecting a baby with her beau, Atlanta Falcons pro footballer Kroy Biermann. But in a shocking twist, Kim first asked Tracy to raise the baby together and then dumped her!

"While I was staying at her house in Atlanta, I watched Kim do numerous pregnancy tests all of which came back positive," Tracy tells Star. "Further to that, we went together to a local Target store where we purchased prenatal vitamins as advised by her doctor."

Adds Tracy, "For her to deny it is ridiculous but it doesn't surprise me in the least. It's typical Kim with an agenda. Who knows what that is. Maybe her own show??"

In these exclusive photos, Kim proudly displays the gender test she took and points toward a positive pregnancy test. "It's quite amusing she had me photograph the entire process and send the pictures to her mother via email. Why she would deny this I don't understand."

Still, Tracy sends her congratulations to Kim. "I wish her and her growing family all the best"

T.I. turned himself in at the Forrest City low-security prison in Arkansas. Tip will be gone for 11 months for violating his probation by testing positive for drugs and being in the company of a convicted felon. He and his rhymes will definitely be missed but we look forward to his return with more heat.

Tiny Pleads Not Guilty To Drug Possession Charges

The L.A. County District Attorney has charged T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle for possession of ecstasy when the couple was arrested on Sunset Strip September 1st. If convicted, Tameka could face up to a year behind bars. The D.A. has did not to prosecute T.I. for charges stemming from the incident because he will already be serving time in Georgia for a probation violation stemming from the L.A. arrest. Tiny has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is due back in court on January 6. I'll keep you posted on the developments.
