The allegations that Bishop Eddie Long used coercion to convince men to perform sexual favors are setting the net on fire. According to the official court documents, the three men shown above (and there may be others) were showered with gifts and placed on the payroll. In one document, one of the men also advised that if any of the “Spiritual Sons” (as they were called) ever sought out relationships with women, Long would do whatever was necessary to intervene and would oftentimes step up his own (sexual) advances. The Bishop has canceled a press conference that was scheduled for today to address these allegations. Instead he will address them with the church at the Sunday morning service. That is going to be real interesting. I know the Q & A is going to be off the hook.
