It looks like the media blitz surrounding Fantasia's affair with Antoine Cook and her attempted suicide attempt are helping to boost her record sells because according to Billboard Fantasia's 3rd cd "Back to Me" is expected to move between 150,000 and 175,000 units in its first week, landing Fantasia at #2 on the charts.

Paternity Suit Rocks Basketball Wives Couple

According to Crunk & Disorderly, Jennifer Williams from 'Basketball Wives' husband Eric just got slapped with a paternity suit. A woman has come fourth with claims that retired NBA player Eric Williams, husband of reality show ‘Basketball Wives’ cast member Jennifer Williams, is the father of her son and is actively seeking child support for the child. The mother of the 18-month-old boy insists that she was unaware that he was married during the duration of their relationship.


When will Jennifer just get the backbone to leave. Eric is so blatantly disrespectful to her and she refuses to leave. SMH

Today marks the ninth anniversary of Aaliyah's tragic death. It's hard to believe that it has really been that long. This may have been a contributing factor in Timbaland's suicide attempt.

Timbaland Attempts Suicide Over Jewelry Theft

Timbaland was the subject of a manhunt yesterday after his family believed he was so distraught over the theft of a $2 million piece of jewelry he might harm himself. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department put out a “possible suicide attempt” APB just before 5 PM PT yesterday. A helicopter and squad cars went on the hunt for the rapper/producer’s Escalade. Here’s some background on what happened… Timbaland was on the phone earlier in the day with his brother-in-law and was deeply upset about something. Turns out there was a theft at his Malibu residence a day before. Someone had stolen a crazy expensive Jacob & Co. watch — valued at $2 million — and Timbaland suspected it might have been someone he trusted.

Timbaland's family was so concerned about him that they called the Sheriff's department to look for him after he took off in his truck. Timbaland was eventually located and pulled over. He was put in a patrol car and taken to his residence, where the Sheriffs continued to speak with him and family members. Paramedics were called to come and evaluate Timbaland. After the evaluation, paramedics determined Timbaland was not a threat to himself and left. 

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of Timbaland’s jewelry and they have possible suspects. I hope there is a positive outcome to this fiasco for Timbaland and his family and the culprits are apprehended. Suicide is not the way to deal with stressful situations people.

The internet has been buzzing the last few months with stories of Shaq's soon to be ex-wife flaunting her new boo thang, Marlon Yates, well now Shaq has jumped on that same ban wagon. Shaq's been seen at a few different functions with ex-Flava of Love winner and T.I.'s one-time favorite jump off, Hoopz! They've been spotted in Las Vegas, shopping at random Walmarts, and at a Waffle House in Tennessee. It's also been put out there that he propsed to Hoopz at a club over the weekend. Don't he know, you can't turn a HOE into a housewife.

The two hooked up at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta to exchange some f*ck faces and she put he on blast when he couldn't stay erect, not one, not two, but three time. She also exposes his coke habit.

When will these male rappers learn that this chicks claim to fame is to f*ck a nucca then put him on blast. Why do they continue to turn a blind eye and act like they special and they can't be crossed. Faith Evans Arrested For DUI

First Fantasia with her attempted suicide and now Faith with her DUI, these artists have to find a new way to promote their albums. According to TMZ, Faith Evans was busted on Saturday night at 10:40pm for an alleged DUI. According to law enforcement sources, the singer was stopped at a DUI checkpoint near the Marina Del Rey section of L.A. when officers detected alcohol. Evans was arrested and booked on misdemeanor drunken driving and her car was impounded. Evans’ blood alcohol level is unknown at this time.


Faith took to her Twitter the day after her arrest to thank fans for their well-wishes and assured them that a music video is still on the way. 


"Hi Faithfuls...I am on the set of my new video for my single 'Gone Already.' I'm sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of a DUI," she tweeted on Monday (August 23). "After completing a full day of wardrobe prep I was stopped at a random checkpoint. I'm fine and well, and thank you for your prayers, kind words and concerns. I can't wait for you all to see my new video & look forward to hearing from u guys...Fizzy," she continued. 



In addition to working on new music, the singer is reportedly filming her own reality show, titled "It's All About Faith," which will follow Evans as she makes her return to the music scene. SMH

Former Real Housewife of Atlanta DeShawn Snow and her estranged husband Eric put their Alpharetta mansion on the market. I reported a few weeks ago that Deshawn found out Eric had hooked with his college sweetheart at a class reunion and had gotten her pregnant. Eric served DeShawn with divorce papers shortly after the ish hit the fan and now, days after a rumored baby girl was born, they're trying to get rid of their house. Eric and Deshawn are asking $5 million for the 10,317 square foot, 6 bedroom, 6 full and 6 half bath dream house.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Returns This Fall

The new season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta starts on October 4th at 9pm on Bravo. This season welcomes two new housewives, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey to the show. Phaedra is already causing major drama with Nene and Kim. I can't wait to see the shenanigans these ladies come with this fall. I know I'll be tuned in. Will you?

Toya Carter Is Engaged To Memphitz

Jennifer Freeman, aka Claire on the sitcom ‘My Wife In Kids’ gave her husband the beat down for checking her phone. According to Bossip.com:

NBA veteran Earl Watson filed for divorce from his wife Jennifer Freeman — claiming the “My Wife and Kids” actress attacked him in a late night rage … and savagely bit him on the chest until he bled.
According to legal papers filed last week in L.A. County Superior Court, Watson claims things got bad on August 1st … when Jennifer received a suspicious text message at 11PM and Earl decided to check her phone.
Watson — who played with the Indiana Pacers last season — claims his wife was furious that he took the phone and reacted by hitting him “forcefully twice in the face with her right open hand.”
Watson claims Jennifer then “grabbed my right wrist and bit … breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.” Once she let go of the wrist, Watson claims she then chomped down on his chest … again drawing blood.
Earl claims Jennifer then tried to attack him with an iron — but he was able to knock it out of her hand.

Although Earl initially requested a divorce ASAP — along with full custody of their 10-month-old daughter he quickly had a change of heart. Watson’s lawyer, William Briggs, said his client plans to withdraw his divorce petition tomorrow and he’s reconciled with the wife who allegedly brutalized him. Briggs said, “The couple has reconciled their differences and plans to make their marriage work.”

Now if this ain't some crazy ish. When will these women learn that you can't just snap and haul of on a man cause he can and more than likely will hit you back. She needs to seek some professional, maybe its a post-partum issue she's dealing with. Either way I wish this couple the best because they are just too cute together.

49ers Glen Coffee Retires After Two Years In The NFL

Alabama running back Glen Coffee(notes), announced Friday that he was leaving the game of football. Coffee explained his decision in a statement released through the team. Coffee states, "This has been a tough decision for me to make, but at this time in my life I feel it is best for me that I move on from football. I appreciate what the 49ers, my teammates and coaches have done for me, and I wish them a blessed season and all the best in the future."


Needless to say that this has taken just about everybody by surprise. The 49ers, however, say Glen Coffee is quitting and Singletary says he doesn't know why. Coffee has had a lively competition with Anthony Dixon for carries behind Frank Gore and Coach Singletary had been saying positive things about Coffee.

Glen Coffe is just a second-year player so it kind of hard to believe he's really retiring from the NFL. I think his career was off to a great start and he has so much potential. There is definitely somthing else going on behind the scenes that has not been released just yet. We'll stay tuned in for this one.

Fantasia Attempts Suicide

R&B singer Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized on Monday after her manager, Brian Dickens, dialed 9-1-1 because the American Idol star overdosed on aspirin and a sleeping aid. She was admitted to Mercy South Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina where she was treated for exhaustion and dehydration. She’s in stable condition. It’s said that Fantasia was feeling “overwhelmed by the lawsuit and media attention” circulating her relationship with boyfriend Antwaun Cook and the alleged lawsuit by his ex-wife Paula Cook for destroying their marriage. Fantasia’s manager Brian Dickens says:

She was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention alleging she was involved with married man. Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon.

Now I don't know if this is just a publicity stunt or if your just had a moment, either way I hope she pulls through and finds the strength to deal with the consequences of her actions. This is why when you lay up with dogs you wake up with fleas. Get Well Soon Fantasia.

Eric Snow Cheats And Gets Jump Off Pregnant

Deshawn Smith, estranged wife of former NBA player Eric Snow, just found out her soon-to-be ex fathered a child with a mutual college friend. How Dreadful! The baby girl is named Ava Marie Snow, born on July 14th to Marisela Alvarado in Michigan. Deshawn will have the last laugh once their divorce is final. She's expected to receive anywhere from $8-20 million once the divorce is signed, sealed and delivered. Cha-ching! I thought they were so cute together. Homewrecker Fantasia Has A Sex Tape With A Married Man

For months Fanny has been denying that she is having an affair with Antoine Cook, a married man she met at a T-mobile store in North Carolina. Fantasia may be in for a rude awakening because Antoine's wife Paula just filed for divorce. In her court paper she seeks full custody of their two sons, child support and alimony. She also various text messages from Fantasia and she states that there are even sex tapes, yes tapes. Being that they resident in one of seven "Homewrecker" states, Paula can even sue Fantasia for breaking up her marriage. It has not stated if this is the route she will take but she does have the option. This of course can not be good for the already financially strapped Fantasia.

Former American Idol Tamyra Gray Welcomes Baby Girl

Wow! Who knew that these two were even dating let alone married since 2006. Former American Idol contestant Tamyra Gray and her husband, former Color Me Badd star Sam Watters are the proud parents of a baby girl, Sienna, born on July 17. Watters was so proud to help bring baby Sienna into the world. Sam delivered the baby with the help of a midwife. This is Grays first baby and Watters, who is now an in-demand producer, has an 11-year old son from his previous marriage.

Get well soon Aretha. The Queen of Soul took a tumble on Sunday and has to cancel a series of concerts in New York after she fell and broke some ribs. She is waiting to undergo further testing. She plans to reschedule the canceled concerts for late August.

Happy Birthday President Obama

Today is President Barack Hussein Obama's 49th birthday. He was not able to spend it with family though. Malia is away at camp while Sasha and Michelle are on vacation in Spain where they will meet the with the King and Queen. He plans to spend the day with friends and family in Ohio.

Anthony Hamilton And His Wife Are Having Twins

Congratulations to singer Anthony Hamilton, 39, and his wife, Tarsha, who are expecting twins. Tarsha is set to give birth in October. Anthony and his wife recently hosted a baby shower, with guests that included American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino. Anthony is already a father to sons Anthony Jr, 21, Romeiro, 19, and Tristen, 13.

Federal Judge Overturns Prop 8

San Francisco federal judge,  Judge Vaughn Walker, has overturned California's voter-approved gay marriage ban. The judges ruling declared that the ballot initiative outlawing gay unions in California violates the due process and equal protection clauses of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution and sets the stage for a likely Supreme Court challenge to determine the authority of the state to ban same-sex marriage.

Walker's decision marks the first federal test of a state law outlawing gay marriage. Gay-marriage opponents  sought a stay on Walker's ruling, to prevent a decision against them from unleashing a wave of gay marriages in the state before they could mount an appeal. Prop. 8 backers say they plan to appeal the decision to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Judge Walker is set to rule on the stay this Friday or possibly early next week. Prop 8 proponents have planned a march from the Casto to City Hall this evening. There will not be any gay marriage licenses distributed in the state until the judge gives his order though.

Feds Raid Young Buck's House For Unpaid Taxes

TMZ reports that Young Buck's Tennessee home was just ransacked by several armed federal agents ... and it was all over $300,000 in allegedly unpaid taxes. According to Young's rep, IRS agents rolled up to the platinum-selling rapper's house in Nashville this morning to go on a repossession rampage over the alleged tax debt -- seizing assets like recording equipment, jewelry, furniture, his platinum wall plaques ... and even his kids' PlayStation.

The rep tells us, the feds in question were packing heat -- in the form of a shotgun -- and warned Buck not to interfere with the raid. As for how he fell so far behind in debt, the former G-Unit member tells us, "This IRS situation came about because I trusted accountants, lawyers, and managers to handle my business for me while I focused on making music. From now on, I am going to stay on top of my own business."

Lady GaGa Plays With That "White Girl"

In the September 2010 issue of Vanity Fair Lady GaGa confesses that she does that white girl (cocaine) and drinks alcohol. The 24-year-old singer (real name: Stefani Germanotta) reveals she’s “terrified of heroin” but still does “mostly cocaine.” “I won’t lie; it’s occasional,” she says in the magazine’s September issue. “And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year.” 

GaGa states that doesn’t condone drug use in any way. “I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way,” says the singer. “I don’t want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It’s in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster.” I find this statement to be a bit hypocritical. Don't preach to your fans about some do as I say and not as I do. Many of her fans are young impressionable kids who will take this article to mean that its alright to do drugs and that they can still persevere. I think not and STOP playin' with your nose.

Saturday, July 31, 2010 has to be the most popular wedding date ever. Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinzky, then T.I and Tiny, and now Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. This was a star studded wedding weekend. Congratulations to Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz on  their marriage. The two were wed with an intimate gathering of family and friends aboard a 260-foot yacht on the Mediterranean Sea, near Sardinia’s uber-exclusive Costa Smeralda enclave.

It's Official...T.I and Tiny's Wedding

After exchanging vows in a Miami Beach courthouse on Friday, T.I. and Tiny celebrated their marriage with a fairytale wedding on the exclusive Star Island on Saturday (July 31). The bride and groom both wore white and arrived in a horse-drawn carriage. They were joined by some of their celebrity friends including Usher, Nelly, Ashanti, Jermaine Dupri, Angela Simmons, Bow Wow, Diamond, and Kim Porter. Monica, Antonia “Toya” Carter, and Kandi Burruss were bridesmaids. El DeBarge serenaded the newlyweds before the magical evening culminated with fireworks over the water. Mr. and Mrs. Harris jetted off to Atlanta and Las Vegas where the party continues.
