Tennis diva, Serena Williams was hit with a record high fine today of $82,5000. She was also put on probation for the next four Grand Slam events. This all stems from an altercation she had with a line judge during the US Open earlier this year.

It seems as if they are making an example out of yet another black athlete. Is it just me or does it appear as though this is becoming more prevalent for black athlete to be fined the maximum amount or slapped with the maximum penalty, even if it is their first offense.
