El DeBarge Is A Crackhead

Say it ain't so, El, say it ain't so. After earning two Grammy nods, El Debarge was scheduled to make an appearance at the Grammy Awards but he was too busy doing something else...getting high. According to rumors El was yanked from the awards show line up after record execs found him cowering in an empty office wild eyed, sweating and obviously high. They say El went missing during a break in a meeting at the Interscope Records building and when they found him he was out of his mind and admitted that he'd been smoking crack. He was immediately ordered to get treatment. Insiders say  El cracked under the pressure of going back on tour for the first time in years.
