Former New Jersey Net star Jayson Williams has hit an all time low. The troubled player was just on trial for murder, the jury deadlocked, and he will be retried. He has now turned to drinking and driving. Yesterday he drunkenly crashed his SUV into a tree on the Lower East Side, leaving him with a broken bone in his neck. He was charged with a DWI at the scene of the accident for refusing a breath test.
Wait, there's more. As if things weren't bad enough for Jayson he was caught on surveillance video from the scene sliding over from the driver's seat right after the crash at East 18th Street and Avenue C. No one else was seen leaving the car. This is the latest in a string of meltdowns and run-ins with the law. I honestly believe that he is looking for a way to end his life.
