The Bay Will Be Representin' In The Pro-Bowl

San Francisco linebacker Patrick Willis is headed to his third straight Pro Bowl along with Niners tight end Vernon Davis who will make a debut for his first Pro-Bowl trip to Miami for the Feb. 7 game. Oakland Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha earned his third Pro Bowl selection during his seven-year career. A pair of Bay Area punters also are headed to Miami -- Andy Lee of the 49ers and Shane Lechler of the Raiders.

Police Find Person Of Interest In Dragging Death

UPDATE:

San Jose police have located a woman considered a person of interest in the death of a 20-year-old San Jose woman who was found lying in the middle of an Alviso-area street Monday. Jennifer Bautista, 19, was pulled over by police at about 10:40 a.m. as she was driving near Tully Road and South Seventh Street, Officer Jermaine Thomas said. He declined to give further details on the traffic stop, but said police are questioning Bautista and a passenger who was in the car.

Sean Paul Arrested

Sean Paul Joseph age 30, is one-half of the rap duo Youngbloodz. He was arrested Monday evening (Dec 21st) and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction and simple battery after an altercation at Tongue & Groove nightclub where the groups own mixtape release party was being held. Word on the streets is that Sean Paul knocked a nucca out for talkin slick at his party and that's what lead to the people being called out. He was released on $1500 bail shortly thereafter and has returned to the studio and is back on his grind.

Parting Ways

Actors Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon are confirming that they’ve parted ways and splitting up after a 23-year relationship. The two worked together on the baseball film “Bull Durham,” Sarandon and Robbins collaborated on “Dead Man Walking,” which Robbins directed. Sarandon’s starring role in that 1996 film earned her a Best Actress Oscar. The couple has two sons together — 20-year-old Jack and 17-year-old Miles.

Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault. The charge stems from an incident over the weekend where the “Rehab” singer was reportedly carried out of a London theater by her own security staff. Winehouse turned herself in Wednesday to the Thames Valley Police but made bail soon after. She has a court date set for January 20th. The singer allegedly heckled performers and assaulted the stage manager at a pantomime show on Saturday.

Shane Sparks Is Out On Bail

UPDATE:

Shane Sparks posted bail last night and now that he's out of jail, he is ready to fight to clear his name. Sparks, a judge on the MTV show "America's Best Dance Crew," was arrested on Friday and charged with nine counts of child molestation. But his attorney, Steve Meister, states the whole thing "stinks to high heaven" since Sparks' accuser waited 15 years (until Sparks became famous) before she came forward. Shane claims that he is being extorted and his attorney says the charges "are completely without merit" and that Sparks "knows he is innocent." Hit the yellow link below for a list of the charges.

R.I.P Brittany Murphy

According to TMZ, Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. She was 32. Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

This is so sad. She was so young and was a good actress. I enjoyed many of the movies she has starred in and the industry has lost another talented young lady.

Another Case Of Chesterism

Choreographer, Shane Sparks' career was catapolted to new heights when he started working on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance". He is currently a judge on the MTV show “America’s Best Dance Crew” and he has been arrested and charged with 9 counts of child molestation.

The LAPD took Sparks into custody at 8AM PT this morning on a felony warrant charging him with molestation. The alleged incidents began occurring in 1994. The criminal complaint filed by the L.A. County District Attorney’s office lists 9 incidents of alleged molestation with an underage girl.

The lewd acts include oral copulation and other acts “with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [the victim].” Sparks is being held on $590,000 bail. Sparks is the second person from “So You Think You Can Dance” who’s been in trouble with the law — earlier this year his co-star Alex Da Silva was charged with rape.

SMDH. This just don't make no sense for these grown ass men to be taking advantage of children for their own sexual gratification. I'm really saddened and disgusted by all the report reports of child molestation being involving celebrities.

He stated that he had just received a letter from the group stating that he has been let go and that he is hurt about how things went down. Goon Breaks Into Nelly's Home.

UPDATE:

A man used a window to get in and out of rapper Nelly's house in suburban St. Louis. The goon stole electronics and video games. Nelly was not home when during the robbery early Friday morning.

Three people were inside the house at the time and one confronted the intruder. The man was able to get away with a duffel bag of electronics, a video game system and video games.

No one is in custody but this sounds like an inside job to me. I'll keep you updated as information becomes available.

I have to admit that the new reality show on MTV, Jersey Shore, is my latest guilty pleasure. This show is outrageously entertaining. The show has all the elements and drama of other reality shows but is a little more controversal with the "guidos and guidettes" as they refer to themselves partying all the time, missing work, and of course drinking and hooking up. I have lost count of all the different hook up so far and I believe that they have only aired two or three episode so far.

In the clip above the shorty of the crew (literally), Snookie, gets punched in the face by some guy at the club for talking ish is his face. I do not condone violence of any kind, especially violence against women but dude really knocked her out. Luckily this a hole was arrested for his actions.

Danger Really Is Dangerous

Monica "Danger" Leon (a contestant on For The Love of Ray J Season 1) spent a week in a psychiatric hospital recently after an incident involving her daughter. She was taken in on a 5150 Psychiatric hold because of issues she was dealing with as a result of postpartum depression. Her friends became concerned about her after she pulled a Brittany and shaved her head after a fight with her baby's daddy. Brian Gumbal Announces Cancer Surgery

Bryant Gumbel announced Tuesday morning that he had cancer surgery two months ago to remove a malignant tumor near his lung. Gumbel, 61, was guest-hosting "Live! with Regis and Kelly," filling in for Regis Philbin, who recently underwent successful hip replacement surgery. WNBA Great Lisa Leslie Is Having A Boy

Congratulations to retired WNBA Legend Lisa Leslie and her husband Michael Lockwood who are expecting their second child in May and it's a boy.

Lisa became pregnant in September, during her last month with the Los Angeles Sparks. She said her husband was really excited once he found out she was expecting a boy. The two already have a two year old daughter named Lauren Jolie Lockwood. The couple plans to name their son Michael Joseph Lockwood, Jr.,  M.J. for short. Lisa is hopeful that basketball will be in her son’s future.

Case Closed...

Nas and Kelis were in court yesterday where the judge made a final verdict in their divorce proceedings. The judge awarded Kelis $40,454/month for spousal support, $10,647 for child support and the lawyer bill is $46,022. All of this is based on what Nas has and also what he has coming, since Kelis decided to let it be known that her ex-hubby would be dropping two more albums. Nas’ lawyer is still fighting the custody battle because at this time, Kelis has full custody and Nas wants to be able to have his son spend the night.

This has been a nasty divorce but it could have been much worse. I guess its good that these two are still "cordial" because they have to interact with each other for the next 18 years and who knows how long it will take for the child custody case to be worked out. I guess we can look forward the some new Nas tracks and shows cause this brother will soon be quoting officer Ricky Ross', "Everyday I'm Hustling" to pay my ex-wife. This is just another case of it being cheaper to keep her, huh.

Insiders say the disgraced sex addict has told wife Elin he will “do anything” – as the scandal rolled on. Swedish beauty Elin Nordegren, 29, has agreed to stay with her billionaire husband for the sake of their two young children. But she has given Woods, 33, this stark ultimatum: “It’s golf, or me.” A friend said: “She was close to walking out. She decided to stay for the kids’ sake.

Cops Called To Nelly's Home

Police rushed to Nelly’s St. Louis Mansion after receiving a call about a break in. 12 officers, a helicopter unit and a K-9 squad have been patrolling the area after a female in the home reported that she saw a young man leaving from the premises. No stolen items have been reported as of yet.
