Big Happy Family

Norris Coles, 41, weighs 340 lbs. His wife Tameka, 36, weighs 380 lbs. Their daughter Amber, 16, weighs 348 lbs. Amber's brother Shayne, 14, weighs 336 lbs. Together, the Coles family weighs a collective 1,400 pounds -- and that's why the family was offered their own TLC reality show, One Big Happy Family which premiered this evening. On One Big Happy Family, the Coles will try to change their unhealthy lifestyles after one of the family members learns they have a life-threatening health issue. The Coles family is attempting to lose the weight without the help of a nutritionist or personal trainer, so they must rely on each other while they try to meet their fitness goals.


In the premier episode the family goes to a water park and are met with the harsh reality that there are certain things they just are not able to do because of their weight. However, this family is very loving toward one another and by the end of the second episode they make a pact to help each other become healthy and loss weight.


Yall know I have a weak spot for reality shows so this one like so many others has become one of my guilty pleasures.
