Jennifer Hudson is Essence magazine’s cover girl for the Aprill 2011 issue. She talks to the mag about being a mother, her upcoming wedding and her 80-pound weight loss. “My wish is to be at least half as good as my mother was, as patient and as loving as she was, and to just give that to my son.” Her sophmore album, I Remember Me, drops March 22nd. The issue features a special subscriber’s cover.
